Peer review sucks, but it beats the alternative - so let’s make it better by keeping in mind that the point of peer review is to provide the authors with a “soft-opening” of their “show” to make sure that they’re ready for prime time. More at onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/cn… @suzanahh

I’m delighted: 10 months into my tenure as EIC, I see the first results of my decision to reject papers while writing to the authors to point out problems and suggest how to improve it so that a new submission could make it to revision. Result: papers accepted! @suzanahh
