Uniform tool system was designed to support 3D spatial input, so we unlocked the ability to freely move the camera using Multi-Touch while working with any tool.
Uniform now supports precision surface tools for pixel art and low poly models. New tool modules implement a visible pixel grid and custom pixel queries for more advanced effects.
We are enabling a new public beta wave for Uniform. We have been working on fixes, performance improvements and the ability to import existing models for texture painting, normal map editing or high poly sculpting.

Uniform's new GPU backend enables procedural displacement layers for sculpting. You can add high frequency detail non destructively and paint its area of influence. This detail will always export at maximum resolution and allows further editing by stacking more editable layers.
Uniform tool and layering system is now fully GPU accelerated. You can use large sculpting and painting brushes, surface filters, deformers and procedural layers on meshes with millions of polygons without any input lag or shuttering.
When this account goes silent for a while it usually means we are working on something big. 👀
In Uniform you can use multiple viewport panels to design the final render views for a project presentation. All viewports can have independent shading modes and allow scene and camera settings editing. This demo is running on a 2018 3rd gen iPad Pro.
Uniform supports a global color palette that can be referenced in fill layers. This is useful for color adjustments and creating asset variations. The color palette can be edited from a single place and all textures and painted vertex data update accordingly.

Implemented Surface Influence Tool Modules in Uniform. This type of module controls the amount of effect Brushes and Filters apply, based on selection, geometry features or any other parameter.
Testing the full low-poly game asset workflow in Uniform. This includes ploy modeling, normal map sculpting, PBR texturing and lighting. The final model can be directly exported to a game engine as a glTF file.

Added support for environment maps in Uniform's real-time renderer. At a higher level environments behave like any other light, so you can mute/solo them and use the transform gizmo to adjust their rotation.

Uniform tool system was designed to support 3D spatial input, so we unlocked the ability to freely move the camera using Multi-Touch while working with any tool.
Uniform now supports precision surface tools for pixel art and low poly models. New tool modules implement a visible pixel grid and custom pixel queries for more advanced effects.
We are enabling a new public beta wave for Uniform. We have been working on fixes, performance improvements and the ability to import existing models for texture painting, normal map editing or high poly sculpting.

Uniform's new GPU backend enables procedural displacement layers for sculpting. You can add high frequency detail non destructively and paint its area of influence. This detail will always export at maximum resolution and allows further editing by stacking more editable layers.
Uniform tool and layering system is now fully GPU accelerated. You can use large sculpting and painting brushes, surface filters, deformers and procedural layers on meshes with millions of polygons without any input lag or shuttering.

In Uniform you can use multiple viewport panels to design the final render views for a project presentation. All viewports can have independent shading modes and allow scene and camera settings editing. This demo is running on a 2018 3rd gen iPad Pro.
