84 years ago, LDF was incorporated to provide legal representation to underserved Black communities and to advance racial justice. In the time since, it has become integral to the very fabric of our multiracial democracy.
We celebrate our legacy, our impact & our promise. We honor our founder Thurgood Marshall & all the ppl who have come before us on whose shoulders we stand. We also salute & give thanks to our clients whose courage & sacrifice enable the transformative change we strive to create.
