@marktilbury One thing people miss with this: a podcast transcript is how the client talks, not how they write. Grab a few things they've actually written (emails, old posts) for the voice instructions too, or the newsletter reads like a cleaned-up transcript.

@matchayuma @bot Solid step 1. One tweak: top posts by views can skew toward whatever format happened to go viral, not how you actually talk. Throwing in a handful of normal replies and DMs gets the voice guide a lot closer to you on everyday posts.

@aashna_doshi2 The fully automated one will be asking for the same thing a month in. What usually fixes it is starting from stuff they already wrote themselves (DMs, old posts, emails) before AI drafts anything. Without that it can only guess, and the guess sounds like LinkedIn.

@jr_sachdeva Agree. What makes it stick is saving those pieces as permanent instructions (a project or custom instructions) instead of pasting them every time. Then add one line whenever you fix something it got wrong. That list ends up doing as much work as the samples.

@jon_barron The manual pass at the end is the underrated part. If you save the AI draft next to your hand-edited version, the diff is basically a style guide of what it still gets wrong. Feed that in on the next paper and the last rewrite gets way shorter.

@Mapemaofweb3 Telling it "only change sentence 3, give me back just that sentence, don't touch anything else" fixes most of it. Asking for the full text back is basically permission to rewrite everything, and every pass drifts further from how you actually sound.

@PGxPrachi @WeeyugaFounder Same split for a lot of people. One thing that makes the first draft way less robotic: give it 10 captions your clients actually liked and tell it to copy the hook style from those instead of inventing one

@OctoberFerguson @58rughooker 380k words in and it still can't get your syntax is brutal. What works better than "write in my voice": paste 2 or 3 of your scenes, have it list the patterns it sees, fix that list yourself, then have it write from the list. Still not you, but closer

@PaulJeffries @thesupermannx "It writes like me, how do you think it got that way" is the best comeback to that accusation. The irony is the fix runs the other way too: feed it your real writing and it stops sounding like everyone else.
