40 years ago this month, the Rubik's Cube made its global debut. Invented in the mid-70's by Erno Rubik, a Hungarian professor of design, “the Magic Cube” - as it was originally called. The Rubik's Cube quickly became the quintessential ’80s toy and the rest is history.
