@fittycp @BuckyBoston Yeah it’s a real mystery how the team’s leading receiver, a guy who had 13 TDs, would have changed things.

@BuckyBoston Since when is college impact determined by NFL production? That makes no sense unless you also want to acknowledge that MHJ leaving early against Georgia had no impact on the Peach Bowl….

@The_Undisput3d @AustinJ_C30 You have nothing to base it on that he is a good coach. His teams lose A LOT of winnable games.

@Redbeard_FB Colts are 2-3 right now. AR is 8-7 as a starter. I know the passing numbers were rough but no one can say in good faith that the team would be worse results wise with him. In an explosive play era, he can give you those and keep them in games.

@Bidensballsac @TheHoody27 IU’s biggest defensive issue has been against mobile QBs who have been able to get away from pressure. That’s not Sayin’s game. It’s why the OSU offense struggled to put up points on them last year

@HoosierPourke Also from a style standpoint, as great as Jeremiah Smith is, the IU defense is probably better built against OSU than even NW or Nebraska. If the DL gets pressure, Sayin won’t be able to just get out and run with it

@BigXFr @bcamlarson1 @JMichael557 The biggest lie Colts twitter tells is that Steichen is a good coach who has suffered from a bad GM. Is Ballard good? No. But Steichen teams have lost a lot of winnable games, he’s the one who hitched his wagon to Jones, etc. He isn’t good enough to be deemed a must keep

@AndrewMooreNFL They also were the best players on the last playoff team the Colts had. And Buckner has played in a Super Bowl. Acting like these guys are the issue is crazy

@GatewayColtsFan 2-3 is extremely mediocre by NFL standards when 23 of the 32 teams were 2-2 or better entering this weekend. Especially when those 2 wins came against teams combined 2-7-1.

@JoshWilsonSB Offensive genius Shane Steichen is now 27-29. One can only hope he will stay with ALL that success

@Tnoble1091 @TexasHookem22 Ewers would have gone to Texas but was too young to receive NIL under Texas law at the time. So he went somewhere he could for one year and then went to Texas when he could get NIL

@Connor54194816 @ZachHicks2 Steichen needs to be right there with them. His red zone playcalling has been terrible and this is his team

@NickRevell317 @Schultz975 That would be smart and would take advantage of the one thing AR is good at. So we can’t have him look good at all and make the organization and coach look even more incompetent. We will just settle for mostly incompetent

@JoshWilsonSB I can’t believe Kiffin didn’t go for it when he had it 4th and 1 at the end of regulation. First down would have ended it. I know it was on his own side of the field but I feel like the reward outweighed the risk

@brianmichaelf @2StripesCPD Yep. Last second loss to a top 10 team on the road and were left out in favor of a team they had beaten.

@New____Days It’s not just that. It’s the subsequent 3 and out and then another TD allowed. His teams are horrendous in responding to adversity

@sirdibbydukes It’s a good decision to go for it. The play call was horrendous. Under normal circumstances, you shouldn’t ever give up a 97 yard run.

@FeuxManning Low key, would 2020 Paschal be the best receiver on the Colts suiting up this Sunday?

@TheDestinAdams So we are going to roll into the 2027 NFL draft with like 2 picks in the top 150 of the draft? Say Ballard is gone and the MHJ trade is a disaster, the Colts will have little draft capital for whoever takes over

@droppedballs_fb A kid who is struggling and who is being labeled a bust for failure to live up to high expectations won’t suddenly come to a place where his father was a Hall of Famer and turn it around. I’m with you on that. Any other last name and people wouldn’t want him here
