This is the best thing to ever come out of the state of Michigan
Here is (part) of Central Michigan head coach Matt Drinkall's quote in opposition to the proposed 24-team College Football Playoff:
If 13-9 happened under this new format, WVU would still get a first round bye. The Kick-Six just means Auburn and Bama change seeds but both get a bye. Crabtree scoring on the last play to beat Texas doesn’t affect Tex at all. 07 Mizzou and KU- both teams get a Bye.
I would rather go back to the BCS than a 24-team playoff.
Regular season implications gone. Losing doesn’t matter. Endless transferring. Minimal loyalty to schools. Everything about money. Conference regionality gone. Rankings rigged for two conferences (primarily one). Every year College Football gets worse and worse. Very sad.
“If we can get a decent TV deal we’re definitely going to 24” Nobody in charge cares about the fans, players, tradition. It’s all a bunch of corporate shills in suits trying to get a TV paycheck.
CFP leaders are closer than ever to expanding to a 24-team playoff. They are talking buyouts of conference title games and scheduling logistics of doubling the field. Foregone conclusion? “If we can get a decent (TV) deal, we are definitely going to 24.” bit.ly/4jv642P
NO EXTRA TIME NECESSARY
Bowls moving BEFORE the season starts literally defeats the entire purpose of what a bowl game is supposed to be about. CFB’s worst mistake is making everything about the playoff.
NEW: A 24-team playoff isn't just coming - it will drastically change the bowl system per @On3 👀 Bowls moving BEFORE the season. P4 teams refusing to play. Sponsors walking. A lot of unknowns Details: on3.com/news/the-bowl-…

What do you call someone who creates the chaos, then play victim to the chaos they created??
Official Statement Regarding Western Michigan - Michigan Football Game 🗒️: bit.ly/4cxOiYH
This might be the greatest punt I’ve ever seen in my life.
That's a hostage statement. Let me translate: "The B1G reminded us how much our member institutions rely on paycheck games and warned that if we didn't STFU about the obvious theft of the game last night, there are plenty of other teams who would take those slots in the future."
Ok, so I don't want to be tin foil hat guy, and I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt in their explanation. However... As I read this, they are saying that they have a super secret clock that they use in replay that is DIFFERENT & SEPERATE from the clock seen 1) in the stadium, 2) by the announcers, 3) and on the TV screen. If all this is correct, then their explanation is unacceptable.
A statement regarding the results of tonight's game between Michigan and Western Michigan.
The correct final score from Michigan vs Western Michigan
WESTERN MICHIGAN HIGHWAY ROBBERY RIG JOB IN ANN ARBOR
THE MOST RIGGED ENDING EVER WHERE IS THE EXTRA SECOND? THE BALL IS STILL IN THE AIR. WESTERN MICHIGAN WON THAT GAME.
Weird that every Michigan player from 2021-23 has struggled in the NFL… Every. Single. One.
Jets are releasing defensive tackle Mazi Smith, who was included in last season’s trade with Dallas for Quinnen Williams.
I will not overreact, I will not overreact, I will - WE'RE WINNING THE SUPER BOWL
There really aren’t any rules. You just go to court. If it fails, go to court again until a judge says you’re all set. Want a 7th year? Sure Broke rules? Ahhhh, it’s fine. There AREN’T any rules.
What he said.
