🇺🇸 Heart of the Beast
🇺🇸 Living well requires that we listen to one another. Let us lower the friction on household budgets and build a thriving, secure future together. My message to the McKinney City Council: I am proud to address you tonight as a 25-year citizen of Collin County. As my husband, Jacob C. Lucé, noted, our community is experiencing a period of civic reflection. In a time such as this, it is natural for conversations to center on legal statutes, municipal ledgers, and procedural timelines. But we must never lose sight of the families living with the policies we debate. A thriving municipality rests on basic certainties: turning on the tap and knowing our water supply is clean and affordable; flipping a light switch and knowing the grid will not fail us; and balancing a household budget without fear of sudden utility spikes. But physical infrastructure is only half the equation. A city also requires strong human infrastructure. As a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (@BTWHSPVA) and New York University (@nyuniversity), my life has been dedicated to cultural education. The fine arts—music, theater, and dance—are not luxuries. They are the cognitive bedrock of empathy, discipline, and creative problem-solving. Eleanor Roosevelt once wrote: "Where, after all, do universal human values begin? In small places, close to home—so close and so small that they cannot be seen on any maps of the world. Yet they are the world of the individual person; the neighborhood one lives in; the school one attends; the home where one gathers. Unless these places are secure, no grand policy matters." Living well requires that we listen to one another. Tonight, Jacob (@Jake_Luce) and I are here to support the work of this Council, to protect the cultural foundation of our schools, to lower the friction on household budgets, and to ensure that every family in McKinney feels heard, protected, and secure. Thank you for your time. God bless you, and God bless our community.
🇺🇸 McKinney’s Lauren Lynn Focuses on Human Dignity and the Protection of North Texas Families MCKINNEY, TX—This week, 25-year Collin County resident Lauren Lynn published a letter to support the civic conversation happening in North Texas. Lauren’s message centered on McKinney and the core belief that common sense is key to ensuring the protection of human rights, human dignity, and the family unit. Compassionate Care and Basic Needs Lauren’s message provided critical context to voters regarding why balance and stability are necessary for a community to thrive. She translated the realities of a strained municipal ledger directly to the household, emphasizing that every citizen deserves access to basic human needs: food, water, shelter, and security. "Physical infrastructure is only half the equation," Lauren wrote. "A thriving city also requires strong human infrastructure. A municipality rests on basic certainties: turning on the tap and knowing our water supply is clean; flipping a light switch and knowing the grid will not fail; and balancing a household budget without the fear of sudden utility spikes." She noted that when essential services are stable, families have room to breathe. When they are not, parents are left financially and emotionally exhausted, and "our children carry that anxiety directly into their classrooms." Protecting North Texas Families To protect families and ensure basic human dignity, Lauren emphasized that communities must innovate. To address the mounting pressures on households, she championed the implementation of public-private collaborative clinic models. This framework ensures that vulnerable populations have access to basic healthcare through efficient executive partnerships, providing compassionate care without relying on taxpayer-draining bonds. Leaning into her background as a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and New York University (NYU), Lauren also launched a defense of cultural education and community programs. "The fine arts—music, theater, and dance—are not luxuries. They are the cognitive bedrock of empathy, discipline, and creative problem-solving," she said. "Jacob and I are committed to building a local government that lowers the friction on your household budget, protects the cultural foundation of our schools, and ensures that every family in McKinney feels heard, protected, and secure," she concluded.
🇺🇸 Focusing on the Community: Jacob Outlines Solutions for McKinney’s $1.5 Billion Overlapping Debt MCKINNEY, TX— Following a live address to the McKinney City Council, Jacob C. Lucé, a 38-year citizen of Collin County, published a policy agenda focused on the municipal ledger and the future of the community. By anchoring his message in the math of local government, Jacob outlined a vision centered on fiscal accountability and constitutional order. The City Council Message Earlier this week, Jacob’s address to the McKinney City Council was released via video, setting the foundation for his policy platform. Speaking directly to the dais, Jacob described the 7,400+ recall signatures as an exercise of the First Amendment, asking local leaders to approach the process with a respect for the City Charter and the rule of law. Additionally, he reassured the continuity of major commercial contracts while emphasizing that local expansion must drive down housing costs, create jobs. and protect local families. The Municipal Ledger: Addressing the $1.5 Billion Burden Building on his chamber address, Jacob’s municipal policy letter targeted the overlapping debt impacting local families. He highlighted the combined systemic burden of McKinney ISD’s existing $420 million debt, their impending $500 million bond request, and City Hall’s $1.1 billion debt load. "Together, the decisions made by City Hall and the McKinney ISD Board of Trustees have trapped local families in an economic vice," Jacob wrote. He pointed out the inconsistency of closing three elementary schools to save $3 million while simultaneously asking for massive new bonds. "They are closing our local elementary schools—yet demanding half a billion dollars in new debt from the exact same taxpayers." Noting that these ledgers "threaten to push McKinney’s total overlapping debt to more than $2 billion," Jacob established a framework to stabilize the community's finances. He emphasized the need to "strip waste from the ledger and focus our capital on improving essential services—including our fire and police departments, our roads, and our infrastructure." Furthermore, Jacob outlined solutions for balanced zoning to ensure that "growth must serve the community, support our educators, and open schools rather than close them." Jacob—along with his wife Lauren Lynn—have encouraged McKinney to build a city that generates jobs, lowers the cost of living, and ensures that "the foundational liberties" of the community are protected.
🇺🇸 To the People of McKinney: The true measure of a city is the health, wealth, security, and happiness of its citizens. As our community reflects on its future, the well-being of our residents should continue to remain our top priority. American families are currently caught in an economic squeeze. With national inflation rising to 3.7% and the cost of heating oil jumping 74% over the past year, household budgets are under pressure and being stretched. Meanwhile, average wages have grown by just 3%, meaning the buying power of our residents is decreasing. When the cost of basic survival outpaces the paycheck, families are essentially held hostage by their own utility and household bills. We cannot implement federal policy from McKinney City Hall, but we can implement creative, compassionate solutions to lessen this burden. Our local government should act as a shield for its citizens. To protect our most vulnerable and secure a brighter future for the families of Collin County, our attention centers on a core set of guiding principles. While our commitment extends beyond any single objective, our immediate focus shapes these priority areas: 1. Public-Private Healthcare Partnerships: Access to basic healthcare should not bankrupt a family. By expanding public-private partnerships—championing the collaborative clinic models already proven effective by local healthcare leaders and non-profits—we can ensure our Low-to-Moderate Income (LMI) communities receive essential care without placing new tax burdens on the city budget. 2. Protecting Basic Necessities: A successful city ensures its people are safe and secure. We must work collaboratively with community leaders, faith-based organizations, and civic groups to protect access to affordable housing, food, and water. 3. Defending the Cultural Foundation: Our classrooms and fine arts programs are the cornerstones of empathy and creative thinking. By investing in these programs, we ignite the energy that defines the very soul of McKinney—it is what makes our community truly unique. I believe that McKinney can be a city where parents have room to breathe, and where children carry peace—not financial anxiety—into their classrooms. Our focus remains on restoring balance and stability to our community. If chosen to serve, my husband—Jacob C. Lucé (@Jake_Luce)—and I look forward to building a future where McKinney families are protected, supported, and heard. 🇺🇸 Thank you for standing with us!
🇺🇸 To the People of McKinney: Across our Great City, thousands of residents have successfully exercised their constitutional right to petition their local government. As the signature verification process continues, four city council members—including the Mayor—now face a recall. As residents, we must approach these times with respect for the Constitution, due process, and the rule of law. The people of McKinney are advancing a Cause far greater than any single election—they are securing the foundational liberties and economic stability of their community. That said, we must look at the financial ledger that brought us here. Together, the decisions made by City Hall and the McKinney ISD Board of Trustees have trapped local families in an economic vice. Recently, McKinney ISD closed multiple elementary schools, and now they are asking taxpayers for a massive $500 million bond package. Public records show our school district is already carrying over $420 million in outstanding debt. They are closing our local elementary schools—yet demanding half a billion dollars in new debt from the exact same taxpayers. At City Hall, the burden is even heavier. Public records reveal our total municipal debt has crossed $1.1 billion. Combined, these ledgers threaten to push McKinney’s total overlapping debt to more than $1.5 billion. With rising interest rates and escalating property taxes, common sense tells us that this trajectory is unsustainable. McKinney still holds thousands of acres of undeveloped land, and we must protect it. To ensure our city remains strong, we should commit to the following principles: 1. Stop the Ballooning Debt: We must strip waste from the ledger and focus our capital on improving essential services—including our fire and police departments, our roads, and our infrastructure. 2. Enforce Smart, Balanced Zoning: Growth must serve the community, support our educators, and open schools rather than close them. We must build a city that generates high-quality jobs while actively lowering the cost of living. 3. Restore Confidence: The People are calling for a City Council that respects the taxpayer, honors the Constitution, and refuses to let our city’s future be dictated by special interests. Through focus, discipline, and commitment, we will restore balance and secure a prosperous future for the City of McKinney. 🇺🇸 On we march.
🇺🇸 To the American People: Embracing our shared humanity is essential to forging lasting alliances. Our objectives should be based around a balanced international order where sovereignty is respected, trade routes remain open, and elected leaders honor their people. That said, American foreign policy should prioritize governments that respect the rule of law. Entities that align with violent actors, maritime thieves, or terrorists will face diplomatic isolation and eventual defeat. Furthermore, the international community must not allow energy resources to be weaponized as economic blackmail. This imperative requires defeating the Iranian threat and dismantling its proxy networks: Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and the Houthis in Yemen. Neutralizing these factions provides a strategic opening to liberate millions from oppression, demonstrating that enduring Middle Eastern stability requires a calculated balance of military deterrence and robust diplomacy. Saudi Arabia’s historical hesitation to integrate into the Abraham Accords—alongside Israel, the UAE, Bahrain, Morocco, and Sudan—has left it structurally isolated. This isolation has limited their access to the joint intelligence and defense frameworks necessary to counter Houthi strikes on their infrastructure. The Mecca Defense Alliance—including Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan—must assume responsibility for securing the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. Backed by Yemen, Syria, and Egypt, this coalition will directly complement U.S. and Israeli efforts to defeat Iran in the Strait of Hormuz. Protecting these specific corridors are a global priority, as they control about 25% of worldwide oil transit. Russia’s failing campaign in Ukraine has severely strained its forces and economy. By deviating from standard military doctrine and incurring millions of casualties since 2022, Moscow has been reduced to targeting Ukrainian energy grids, inflicting widespread civilian blackouts and mass fatalities. Ukraine’s resilient counter-offensive stands in sharp contrast. Under President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukrainian forces have successfully blunted the Russian advance, leveraging advanced technology and innovative tactics to seize the strategic offensive and reclaim territory. Even as Kyiv endures heavy aerial bombardment at home, its forces continue to advance on the ground. America’s defense demands action to preserve freedom. Safeguarding the American Republic requires a full commitment to secure our borders and elect leaders who denounce violence. By combining these strategies, we will ensure our long-term national security for generations to come. 🇺🇸 On we march!
🇺🇸 By making smart, forward-thinking decisions today, we will ensure that McKinney remains strong, prosperous, and free. My message to the McKinney City Council: We gather this evening during a season of undeniable civic engagement. Across McKinney, thousands of our neighbors have exercised their constitutional right under the First Amendment and our City Charter to petition their local government. As the City Secretary completes the verification process, we should all remember to approach these times not with panic or presumption, but with profound respect for the Rule of Law and Constitutional Order. To our business leaders, builders, and commercial partners investing into McKinney: you need not fear change. A strong city honors its contracts. A strong city keeps its commitments. If called to leadership, I will not freeze our growth – I will fuel it. Our landmark infrastructure and entertainment venues will stay on track and be completed on time. And – as Councilman Cloutier has correctly pointed out – McKinney is unique. We hold thousands of acres of undeveloped land right here in North Texas. We have the space and the capacity. Now, we must fulfill our responsibility to build the homes and attract the businesses that create high-quality jobs and make life more affordable for working families. Finally, to my fellow leaders on this dais: I extend a hand of partnership. Let us navigate the future with confidence, honor the voice of our people, and ensure that the City of McKinney remains strong, prosperous, and free. God Bless You, God Bless Texas, and God Bless the United States of America.
🇺🇸 MCKINNEY, TX—This week, 25-year Collin County citizen Lauren Lynn stood before the McKinney City Council to deliver a defense of the community's families, educators, and cultural foundation. As the city navigates a period of civic reflection surrounding the potential recall of four council members, Lauren (@LaurenGifford) shifted the public conversation directly toward the realities of the household budget. Noting that it is natural for conversations in such times to center on legal statutes, municipal ledgers, and procedural timelines, Lauren reminded the dais not to lose sight of the families living with the policies they debate. "Physical infrastructure is only half the equation," Lauren noted while speaking to the @CityOfMcKinney Council. "A city also requires strong human infrastructure.” She articulated that a successful city rests on basic certainties: turning on the tap and knowing the water supply is clean and affordable, flipping a light switch and knowing the grid will not fail, and balancing a household budget without the fear of sudden utility spikes. In a subsequent letter released to her digital platforms, Lauren expanded on this message, noting that when essential services become unstable, residents are often left to navigate the situation on their own. She highlighted the downstream effects of this friction, explaining that when parents are financially and emotionally exhausted, children carry that anxiety directly into their classrooms. These positions have been supported by McKinney citizen, Jacob C. Lucé (@Jake_Luce), as well. The Cultural and Educational Shield Drawing on her background as a graduate of the Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (@BTWHSPVA) in the @CityOfDallas and New York University (@nyuniversity), Lauren championed the protection of local cultural education. She challenged the notion that the fine arts are merely extracurricular luxuries, stating instead that music, theater, and dance are "the cognitive bedrock of empathy, discipline, and creative problem-solving.” Lauren reinforced her defense of the family unit by quoting Eleanor Roosevelt, reminding the chamber that universal human values begin "in small places, close to home"—in the neighborhoods, schools, and homes of the individual person. She emphasized that world-class educators cannot protect these vital programs if City Hall does not protect the families that support them, calling for an environment where parents are empowered and children are nurtured. She concluded her address by extending a hand of collaboration, asking the council to work together to protect the cultural foundation of schools, lower the friction on household budgets, and ensure that McKinney families feel heard, protected, and secure.
🇺🇸 MCKINNEY, TX—This week, McKinney’s Jacob C. Lucé delivered an executive platform spanning municipal infrastructure and federal geopolitical strategy. Following the confirmation that around 7,400 citizen recall signatures were submitted for verification against four members of the incumbent administration, Jacob stepped to the podium at McKinney City Hall and outlined a path of constitutional order and further economic expansion. Constitutional Order and Economic Continuity During his address to the City Council on Monday evening, Jacob grounded the civic transition in the First Amendment and the McKinney City Charter. Reminding the chamber to approach the verification timeline with pragmatism, he called for a profound respect for the Rule of Law and Constitutional Order. Jacob then delivered a resolution of continuity to the business community, stating that a strong city honors its contracts and keeps its commitments. He firmly rejected any notion of an economic slowdown, declaring that if called to leadership, he will not freeze the city's growth, but will fuel it. Jacob assured developers and residents alike that McKinney's landmark infrastructure and entertainment venues will stay on track and be completed on time. Acknowledging the alignment with local leaders, Jacob cited Councilman Patrick Cloutier on the dais, noting that @CityOfMcKinney is unique because it holds thousands of acres of undeveloped land. He outlined that the local government should fulfill its responsibility to leverage this space to build homes, attract businesses that create high-quality jobs, and make life more affordable for working families. This agenda was reflected by McKinney citizen @LaurenGifford speaking from the podium, as well. Jacob expanded this municipal framework further in a written letter released across his digital platforms. To stabilize the energy grid and respect taxpayer funds, he proposed localized solar integration and broader energy efficiency initiatives. He concluded his municipal platform by emphasizing that taxpayers deserve great services, specifically prioritizing the @McKinneyPolice and Fire (@mckinneytxfire) Departments. A Doctrine of Peace Through Strength Beyond local ledgers, Jacob published a federal doctrine rooted in the principle of Peace Through Strength. He addressed global volatility, noting the collapse of Russian military doctrine as the nation resorts to striking civilian targets in @Ukraine. Warning against foreign interference in American elections, he cited an open letter published by Iran's IRGC that urged U.S. voters to punish the current administration. Conversely, Jacob highlighted the flow of global capital into the United States as proof of enduring American industrial supremacy. He cited India's $8 billion steel plant in Iowa and South Korea's monumental commitment of up to $200 billion in U.S. energy projects, including eight nuclear reactors and the financing of an Alaskan pipeline. Finally, he praised disciplined regional alliances in the Middle East, recognizing the unified offensive by Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Pakistan, and Turkey to secure the Bab-al-Mandeb Strait against Houthi terror, supported by U.S. and Israeli intelligence. By linking local tax relief and contract stability with a commitment to national security, Jacob’s campaign continues to provide a stabilizing executive framework that ensures McKinney is prepared for the future.
🇺🇸 To the Families, Educators, and Citizens of Collin County: This week, Jacob and I had the profound honor of addressing the McKinney City Council. While much of the civic conversation naturally centers on legal statutes, municipal ledgers, and procedural timelines, I wanted to ensure that the human element of our city was not lost in the debate. Physical infrastructure is only half the equation. A thriving city also requires strong human infrastructure. A municipality rests on basic certainties: turning on the tap and knowing our water supply is clean; flipping a light switch and knowing the grid will not fail; and balancing a household budget without the fear of sudden utility spikes. When essential services are stable, families have room to breathe. When they are not, residents are left to navigate the stress of bureaucratic overreach. And when parents are financially and emotionally exhausted, our children carry that anxiety directly into their classrooms. As a proud graduate of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (@BTWHSPVA) in the @CityOfDallas and NYU (@nyuniversity), my life has been dedicated to cultural education. The fine arts—music, theater, and dance—are not luxuries. They are the cognitive bedrock of empathy, discipline, and creative problem-solving. But our world-class educators cannot protect these vital programs if City Hall does not protect the families that support them. We must build an environment where parents are empowered and children are nurtured. Living well requires that we listen to one another. Jacob (@Jake_Luce) and I are committed to building a local government that lowers the friction on your household budget, fiercely protects the cultural foundation of our schools, and ensures that families in McKinney feels heard, protected, and secure. Thank you for standing with us. 🇺🇸
🇺🇸 To the Citizens of McKinney: We are watching a season of undeniable civic engagement. Across our city, somewhere between 6,500 and 7,400 of our neighbors have exercised their constitutional right under the First Amendment and our City Charter to petition their local government. As the City Secretary completes the verification process, we should approach these days not with panic or presumption, but with a profound respect for the Rule of Law and constitutional order. Things change in life; they always have, and they always will. True stability comes from how leaders navigate that change. This week, @LaurenGifford and I had the privilege of addressing the City Council of McKinney. My message to the dais and to the business community was clear: an administration led by our family will not freeze our city's growth—we will fuel it. A strong city honors its contracts. Critical initiatives will move forward and be completed on-time and to the highest of standards. However, concrete must also serve the community. As Councilman Cloutier has correctly pointed out, the @CityOfMcKinney is uniquely positioned with thousands of undeveloped acres of land. We have a responsibility to use this advantage to expand our housing supply, attract businesses that create high-quality jobs, and drive down the cost of living for working families. Furthermore, we must secure our foundational systems. By deploying forward-thinking solutions—from localized solar integration and energy efficiency initiatives—we will stabilize the grid and protect our people. Our taxpayers deserve the highest quality of services—including from our @McKinneyPolice and @McKinneyFire Departments. Let us honor the voice of the people and ensure McKinney remains strong, prosperous, and free. On we march! 🇺🇸
🇺🇸 To the Citizens of America: A nation’s prosperity is linked to its global strength. We cannot secure the stability of our families here in North Texas if leadership allows hostile regimes to drive the decisions of the Free World. As we approach the midterm elections, we are witnessing attempts by foreign adversaries to weaponize our democracy. Iran’s IRGC published an open letter urging U.S. voters to punish the current administration. Tehran is trying to exploit our constitutional term limits to force a change in American policy. They will fail. Simultaneously, we are watching the total collapse of Russian military doctrine. Faced with internal turmoil, disease outbreaks, and severe territorial losses, Russia has resorted to striking civilian bridges and apartment complexes in @Ukraine, openly declaring that no rules apply. We, along with the @EUCouncil and @NATO, must remain resolute in our support for Ukraine's total sovereign integrity. Conversely, when America projects strength, global capital flows toward our stability. India’s decision to build an $8 billion steel plant in Iowa, and South Korea’s commitment to invest up to $200 billion into U.S. energy—including eight nuclear reactors and the financing of an Alaskan pipeline—proof that the Free World still counts on industrial strength in America. In the Middle East, we are seeing the results of disciplined alliances. As Saudi Arabia and the Yemeni government—with the support of Turkey and Pakistan—launch a unified offensive to defeat Houthi terrorism, the United States and @Israel are correctly providing vital intelligence support while maintaining tactical discipline. Saudi Arabia must secure its own borders, and Yemen must stand on its own two feet as a sovereign country. By combining their forces, they will secure the Bab-al-Mandeb Strait, protecting global maritime commerce and the surrounding nations. A nation that produces its own power will not be so easily leveraged by foreign adversaries. At last, we are returning to the doctrine of Peace Through Strength. On we march! 🇺🇸
