@JamesMelville Not completely true as you can have mavericks in academia that can put the pressure for the peer review to go through. It is effectively a cultural issue and is perhaps more critical everywhere else but peer review: lecturing, mentoring, grading, collaboration, discussions etc.
@JamesMelville It's the same problem in the schools. The teaching of our children is purely based on parroting. And look what that has done to our society!
