JACK DORSEY’S BLOCK APPLIES FOR NATIONAL TRUST BANK CHARTER TO OFFER BITCOIN CUSTODY Block has applied to the OCC to establish Builders Bank & Trust, a federally regulated national trust bank. If approved, it would provide custody and related fiduciary services for Bitcoin and stablecoins. The proposed bank would focus on safeguarding customer assets, rather than operating like a traditional bank that accepts checking or savings deposits and makes loans. Lee Woolley, Block’s Digital Asset Strategy Lead, would serve as President and CEO.
🚨HUGE: Vivek Ramaswamy's Strive has bought another 1,375 Bitcoin for $109 MILLION, its third straight week of 5%+ growth in holdings. The firm now holds 24,531 BTC worth over $1.9 BILLION, ranking among the top 5 publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holders in the world. Strive funds its purchases through preferred stock paying a 13% daily dividend, not debt, a different playbook from Strategy's convertible-note approach.
