@mistersql At the same time, I think nobody should have lint rules enabled for formatting that can be automatically reformatted. Why would I want to hear about a problem that's going to be fixed for me automatically? So the end-end of this for me is "no formatting lint rules, period"

@revrrlewis Places where you're likely to make that much in a shift, are also wealthy metro areas where $60K-$80K is not nearly enough to support a family. 60K a year is like 3500 after taxes. Typical rent for a SFH/2 BR in a non-crappy neighborhood in the DC area is 2500+. That's just rent.

@PSchurman @meredith_levien @drubs @ambienttraffic @shadesofjae @MKx2PR @Bremify Are you sure this is not a platform issue? This would depend on how your email app opens links, stores cookies, etc. If it works on a normal computer (which launches a normal browser, or you're reading email in a browser) I doubt this is their fault

@slangindenver @MarkKittel3 @GeoRebekah Lol fair enough. So he's an assassin who sometimes fails... But he still got paid. (I mistyped that as laid first time)

@MarkKittel3 @slangindenver @GeoRebekah Right. I mean it's academic really. I just think of assassin as a guy with a singular focus. If bond was one, and that's all he had to do, i think most of the movies would be a lot shorter.

@MarkKittel3 @slangindenver @GeoRebekah The killing is a likely consequence, but it wasn't the actual mission. An assassin is just hired specifically to kill someone. Bond does more than just kill someone, he also retrieves nukes or whatever.

@TonesHyus @69olimrb @noamchomsky726 @sahilkapur So because the money in my pocket doesn't choose presidents it doesn't exist? What about the grass on my lawn? Also doesn't choose presidents. You make no sense. A thing can exist without having to choose the president.

@EricG1247 I think the word is "hypocrite" and it's kind of the GOP guiding principle

@69olimrb @TonesHyus @noamchomsky726 @sahilkapur Yep. The only reason elections are close is because of gerrymandering, voter suppression, and a country with a lot of tiny states with disproportionate senate power. Biden won with a massive popular majority.
