Dismayed by the posts about pets being scared by fireworks. My concern is about people, military veterans who have PTSD, for whom the cracks & bangs take them to a bad place. If any callsign on this means needs an ear to spin a dit to tonight or over the weekend, PM me. CC1. Out.

We’ve had a few messages from people reporting that they’ve had representatives from AlzScot attend at their home attempting to secure donations. We do not conduct any door-to-door or cold telephone fundraising, and we would not condone this taking place on our behalf.
Just watched the first item on STV news showing an elderly care home resident being allowed to hug her friend at their first proper visit since lockdown. Feeling so emotional! Praying that it won't be long before every resident can hug their loved ones. @NDCAN_Scotland @

This is dreadfully sad news. My deepest condolences go to Barry’s family, friends and colleagues. This is a terrible tragedy for all who loved him - but also a reminder of the selfless courage our firefighters demonstrate in the line of duty each and every day.
