Jeremy Clarkson’s comments about Franco’s nationality were completely unacceptable. There is no place for remarks like this in Formula 1, regardless of who makes them or whether they are intended as a joke. We have worked hard to promote respect and put an end to hostility and abuse. That respect must go both ways. We cannot ask anyone to behave responsibly while accepting comments like these from prominent figures visiting our sport. Franco and his supporters deserve better than this. Let’s not allow this to undo the progress we’ve made and rise above malicious comments.

Hello @fia are you going to condemn this? Our country has shown some idiotic fans and we’ve been warned enough for them. Now shift the focus to these people who also pronounce racist and xenophobic comments like this. We won’t tolerate them.

You are incredibly dense. He literally singled Kim out by name. What part of that are you struggling to comprehend? If his issue is with celebrities in general, then he should say that instead of specifically targeting her. And mind you, celebrities have been attending F1 races and appearing on grid walks for decades. This isn’t some new phenomenon that started this year. If seeing a celebrity at a sporting event bothers you this much, perhaps you should just stop watching sports altogether, because it happens in every fucking sport

Then just watch the race. It really is that simple. It’s interesting how Kim Kardashian, who’s attended all of two races this year, becomes an issue, yet drivers’ girlfriends and wives are in the paddock practically every weekend. Nobody is forcing you to pay attention to Kim, and her presence has absolutely no effect on what happens on track. If you’re genuinely there for the racing, then focus on the racing

Correction: You have no sources to back up your argument, so you’re pretending it’s beneath you to go looking for them. If it’s been discussed so extensively, finding a credible source shouldn’t be this difficult. But apparently, throwing insults is easier than providing evidence. God, you’re genuinely an annoying idiot

@Gro2811 Are you genuinely that ignorant, or is reading comprehension just not your strong suit? He literally said, “Why do I care about Kim Kardashian?” He specifically singled her out by name. I’m not sure how much clearer that could possibly be.

@YorkshiremanDan You mean the celebrities who have been attending F1 races and appearing on grid walks for decades?

@31D3N_Zoo9 @troymanthey @dxbestani Sadly, I don’t think it’s rage bait. I think he’s just genuinely ignorant

Of course it’s an opinion piece. When did I ever claim otherwise? I said the evidence points toward brake temperatures being a contributing factor, not that they were definitively the cause. And yes, I’m going to give more weight to the analysis of technical experts and people who actually understand the engineering than some random person on Twitter named Rita. Your explanation is a theory too. Nothing about the exact cause has been publicly confirmed by Ferrari, Formula 1, or Brembo. If it has, feel free to provide the official findings. But we both know you can’t

@pitbox44 No one’s making it that deep. It’s just a genuine observation, but you know what? Go off. Get the likes and engagement you’re looking for

I genuinely think Santi gets more hate than he deserves sometimes, but come on. Lewis asked a very straightforward question: how much time did he lose in the final corner? And Santi responds by telling him he did the same lap time as Charles

@baxamaty @bezjovoo @CL16_inside What exactly does Lewis have to do with this? We’re talking about Austin, not Singapore. That race was two weeks ago

Lewis has been off the pace all weekend. We saw that yesterday when he was six tenths behind Leclerc in practice. The team did a hell of a job getting Lewis back to where he needed to be today, and credit where it’s due. But even with that improvement, it was clear he still didn’t have the outright pace to be the quickest this weekend. Every time he put together a competitive lap, someone else would go out and find more time. It’s disappointing because I genuinely think P3 or P4 was achievable, but there’s no point dwelling on it now. The focus shifts to tomorrow. Pole was never realistically on the cards for Lewis this weekend anyway

No, I’ll do it. I never said I’d have your sources within five minutes. I said I’d provide them, and I will. Unlike you, I actually have shit to do outside of sitting on Twitter all day arguing with strangers. My entire day doesn’t revolve around going back and forth with you. So calm the fuck down. You’ll get your sources when I have a minute to gather them

@redclerc @techndly You’re so insufferable. You literally just said yourself that you weren’t going to scroll back five months, you dumbass. So what makes you think it wouldn’t take me a minute to go back five months and find what I’m looking for?
