Humbling to hear stories of Christ-followers who are forsaking worldly comforts to go to dangerous places so that all peoples may treasure Jesus. Westwood we are a part of the spread of the Gospel to the ends of the earth!
As I've walked around Nashville these past 2 days, it's become abundantly clear that this city needs the Gospel. Praying there are 17,000 #SBC21 messengers who see that, too. And try to do something about it.
I’m one of the 99% of SBC pastors you’ve never heard of but I’ll preach from John 12 and baptize 3 tomorrow. I’ll rejoice with some, cry with others, listen to life’s misadventures and hopefully offer hope in Christ. We will pray for Nashville and support our missionaries.
I know everyone is dealing with a lot now, but I wanted to ask for prayer. Kandi’s dad went by ambulance last night to the ER at Tri-star in Hendersonville. He wasn’t able to breathe on his own. We found out late last night that he’s unresponsive. We haven’t heard a word since.
Given how rapidly circumstances and recommendations are evolving, leaders please be aware that official communications need to have a clear time stamp. Undated/untimed letters and notices will lead to unnecessary confusion.
