Grief is a process and it can be a gateway to old habits and old connections, do NOT allow it to deter you from your path to healing, especially during the holidays. When you desire connection find the ones that are genuine and safe. #MentalHealthAwareness #grief

How easily do we judge others with inadequate facts? We run with the bare minimum information & create a whole narrative based on our beliefs, our thinking & our privilege without pause to first gather ALL the facts with an empathetic viewpoint. #justiceforadrielmoxey

When grief happens: It’s okay to cry in waves It’s okay to have moments of happiness It’s okay to have unproductive days It’s okay to not be okay It’s okay to go to therapy Processing grief is unique, it has no timeline, at the end of it you learn to adjust to a new way of life.

#MentalHealthTruth Grief isn’t something you just ‘get over’, there’s no expiration date. Grief is not something to be fixed or stopped or avoided or minimized. It’s okay to not know what’s next It’s okay to not be okay It’s okay to go to therapy!

#MentalHealthTruth Your positive experience with someone does NOT trump someone’s negative experience. Remain neutral “this is my experience but I hear yours and note that your experience is also valid” To my survivors, I see you! #therapyhelps #sasurvivor

There’s no such thing as the ‘right time’ everyday is a reset, you can begin again, you can start over now, you can change direction now. Sometimes you just need support to do so #therapyhelps #counseling #startingover #fallseason (author unknown)

I really feel for the people that barely have any resources to prep for the storm 😥 simply having the money to buy certain items right now is a privilege.
