You don’t always need a reason to be sad—and hiding from it won’t help. My latest on @Medium (No paywall). medium.com/@JeffRoush/why…
@JeffRoushPoetry @Medium Wow! While I was reading, I thought about how much I hate what I go through when I'm sad - mostly self-loathing. And your article made me realize that the sadness is the feeling, and self-hate is my mind's explanation for feeling sad.
@JeffRoushPoetry @Medium Such a beautiful article The body follows the mind…so very important to be able to to express oneself safely 💙🙏💙
@JeffRoushPoetry @Medium Thanks for this. For me, sadness is at its worst when it immobilizes me. If I can find some reason to get up, move, act, help, I’m already better. Sometimes even anger is preferable to sadness because it encourages action rather than lethargy. The thing is to keep moving.
@JeffRoushPoetry @mommamia1217 @Medium Thanks, sadness really wipes me out, and yep, it finds me.
@JeffRoushPoetry @Medium Thank you for this article. Very important for us to let our feelings out instead of suppressing them. I have been feeling a bit overwhelmed and tired lately, but I associate it with the daylight savings time. It might go away by November. 😂🤗
