Let's talk football @JenBYUFan

@BYUSportsNation Pinching myself multiple times a day that BYU is ranked #2!

@BFWshow This is the worst take I've ever heard...don't take not losing (aka winning) as being being good 🙄 All these "not losses"/ close wins for Big 12 teams would have been considered gritty wins for an SEC team. Like that so called gritty win for Texas A&M vs a crappy SC team last yr

@BYUSportsNation Bear's emotional interview on BYU TV. Did anyone even doubt he would get the team to the endzone on that game winning drive!?!

@TopTierKansas @joewheat27 Yeah Taysom Hill wasn't cool in the NFL at all.

@BruceFeldmanCFB There is no way that play only took 3 seconds. Just watch it and you can tell it takes a full 4 seconds so idk what was going on with the clock.

@jaromjordan @PFN365 Tommy P is a good player to improve that much but that's also really good coaching.

@Average_Homeboy Ah yes list making. Always a sign you're trying to have fun!

@BYUSportsNation @therriannn His interviews are always so good! So glad he's a Coug! Hope he has a monster game next week!

@tvheidihatch My late husband witnessed his mission companion get hit by a car while serving in South Africa. Unfortunately his companion didn't make it. It was very traumatic for my husband and obviously for his companions family. Prayers for this sister, her family, and her companion.

@Average_Homeboy I'm so sorry. I lost my husband to cancer about 2 years ago. Cancer is the worst. It's so hard. Prayers for your family.

@BYUSportsNation Yes. Got the W, no injuries, experience for the depth players to learn from. Kalani is one of one and BYU is in good hands with him as head coach.

@RGIII @BYUCougars @BYUfootball @OuttaPocketRG3 My son is there there somewhere! Been there since 8:30 waiting to get in! Go Cougs!

@BYUSportsNation @BYUfootball Loved hearing about his story. What an incredible example of trusting that God can help us create a something beautiful, esp when it isn't what we were expecting.

@jasonmcgowan @kalanifsitake His motto of focusing on what you can control is invaluable to his team. It is so much like my late husbands motto for life. It's helped us as we've mourn his loss. Kalani is the kind of coach anyone would want for their son. Humility, hard work, and faith.

A story for the "Mormons aren't christians" crowd: A pastor and a Latter-day saint both die and end up at the pearly gates of heaven at the same time. Saint Peter stands before them and asks, "What are you most proud of accomplishing on Earth?" The pastor says, "I'm most proud of the time I spent preaching about Jesus Christ. The real Jesus Christ, not the fake one this Mormon believes in." Peter responds, "You hoped to save souls?" The pastor smiles. "I did." Peter turns to the Latter-day saint. "What about you?" He shrugs. "Well, I promised in a holy temple to consecrate all my life to Jesus Christ. I raised a family, attended church weekly, read the scriptures and prayed every day. I donated my money and time to serving in God's kingdom in various callings. I loved my neighbors and shared Jesus Christ's gospel as I understood it." Peter responds, "You tried to live like Jesus taught?" The Latter-day saint smiles. "I did." Peter asks the pastor, "If you were me, would you let this man in?" He motions to the Latter-day saint. The pastor scoffs. "Of course not! He deserves to burn in hell for misunderstanding the nature of Jesus Christ!" Peter asks the Latter-day saint, "If you were me, would you let this man in?" He motions to the pastor. The Latter-day saint nods. "Absolutely. He clearly loves Jesus, and if either of us are wrong in our understanding, I'm sure it'll soon be cleared up and we can continue following our Lord and Savior the best we know how." Now tell me... Which of them is a disciple of Jesus Christ? And how do you expect to convince the "Mormon" it isn't him?
