It is so great to know that all the participants in the Island Games are making the most of their abilities. Sport no longer for me, either, Liz, though I did enjoy hockey, netball, tennis \trampolining and discus in the past, believe it or not!

I was very concerned to read the Guernsey Press article about the St. Peter Port parish elections today. I am NOT vice dean of the Douzaine, that is Mary McDermott and I was unaware of anyone asking that question and who would give such a misleading answer!

The article in the Guernsey Press about the St. Peter Port parish elections today, has an important error that must be corrected! I am NOT vice dean or the Douzaine that is Mary McDermott, and I was quite unaware of anyone asking that question or giving such a misleading answer.

Jo, the road closures are a real problem now as they are all done digitally rather than looking personally at how any closure will affect any road nearby ... The Couture Junction area will create chaos, I think!
