People who were fined £10,000 might be a little pissed to learn “I’m sorry for party season” would have done the trick

@JimMFelton Or stating that the party was a work meeting. Also wearing suits and having wine and cheese present would’ve done the trick too. Wish I thought of that excuse when I had parties as a teenager…
@JimMFelton Johnson is probably on the phone to his donors right now, just in case they need to ‘lend’ him £10,000.
@JimMFelton Can't believe they are still using 'we got Brexit done' as some kind of achievement. FFS......
@JimMFelton You’re on “she doesn’t know better” territory, mate, so tread carefully.
@JimMFelton So that's a £10K fine per transgression for Boris then. Along with everything else, it adds up to this.
@JimMFelton Actually, Ms Truss, what we want to see right now, among other things, is Mr Johnson personally returning ALL the fines collected by the Police for people breaking lockdown rules. Either that, or paying his own fines. Not the taxpayer, he himself.
@JimMFelton Yes - I’m not sure that ‘delivered Brexit’ qualifies as a mitigating factor given that said Brexit is fucking up our economy and has robbed us of the freedom to live and work in the continent of 400 million people on our doorstep.
