When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse Out of the corner of my eye I turned to look but it was gone I cannot put my finger on it now The child is grown The dream is gone I have become comfortably numb...

I don't know how or why or when I ended up in this position I'm in I started to feel distant again so I decided just to pick this pen Up and try to make an attempt to vent but I just can't admit

Trying to make a move just to stay in the game I try to stay awake and remember my name But everybody's changing, and I don't feel the same

My heart is just too dark to care I can't destroy what isn't there Deliver me into my fate If I'm alone I cannot hate I don't deserve to have you My smile was taken long ago If I can change I hope I never know

Such a lonely day shouldn't exist It's a day that I'll never miss Such a lonely day, and it's mine The most loneliest day of my life And if you go, I wanna go with you And if you die, I wanna die with you Take your hand and walk away

There is no pain you are receding You are only coming through in waves When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse Out of the corner of my eye I turned to look but it was gone The child is grown The dream is gone I have become comfortably numb

Things not what they used to be Missing one inside of me Deathly loss this can't be real I cannot stand this hell I feel Emptiness is filling me To the point of agony Growing darkness taking dawn I was me but now, he's gone
