There's a big difference between a company being sold and its shares being diluted. Let us not be misinformed.
@JitoKayumba Thank you for this insightful information.
@JitoKayumba Well put. However, haven't the additional shares diluted our voting rights? The investor getting 51% means they have a controlling interest and us through ZCCM's 49% become a minority interest. Isn't it so? Please elaborate.
@JitoKayumba Wait when this is tested in court, then will see . Right now you can say what you wait.
@JitoKayumba Correct. There’s a difference between ownership and control.
@JitoKayumba Whatever the analogy, this is a sale in principle. Shares have been traded, and funds paid to beneficiaries. Not sure of the procedural issues around the sale of national assets. So what Jito just said is misinformation
@JitoKayumba What's disturbing is that we have some law makers who can't actually can't understand basic issues like this.
@JitoKayumba Timely explanation, thanks @JitoKayumba in simple terms, reduction of ownership percentage of existing shareholders in a company when new shares are issued by the company.
@JitoKayumba You really take us for fools you people. Time to account will come. What has happened can’t be described as anything other than a sale.
