I‘m fucking inspired seeing the artist community band together & send shitstorms left and right towards corporations using Ai. We may not have unions or lobby money but we have audiences that trust us. We yield actual power by shifting the public opinion. Don’t. Ever. Stop.

„Ai democratizes art.“ I literally can‘t think of a more accessible skill than creating art. A pencil and paper cost a few bucks and there are thousands of FREE tutorials by very skilled professionals online. Stop the lazy excuses and pick up a pencil like the rest of us did.

While I was working for an advertising agency, a client wanted to see me work in person. He invited the agency boss and me to Lucerne, Switzerland for a few days, and rented a banquet hall to observe me designing mascots while Swans swam past the balcony doors. David Lynch stuff.

getting laid off by riot games working on skins for league of legends only to get approached by an outsourcing company within hours of the layoff to do skins for league of legends for a flat rate per skin lol

If you chase "I'll be happy once I'm finally a good artist" you'll never be happy because there are always going to be paths to explore and ways you can improve. You have to redefine being a "good artist" as being someone who stays open to learning, growing and exploring
You guys gotta break the cycle of hating your art and instead start thinking about why other people's styles look better to you Is it the colors they use? The brushes? They way they render art? Do they use thick lines or thin lines? We should lift each other up more
