Chronic illness match is calculating what you can get done today within your own energy reserves, how much can you go over, and how much you will be punished by your body for going over that energy reserve.
@JoannaNoBanana @RRorrsch Usually. Very good description though. Unfortunately, not all chronic illnesses are so predictable. Things can go downhill real fast.
@JoannaNoBanana very accurate description what some don’t understand is that if/when you go beyond the limit and deplete reserves, which for me usually is fairly obvious in the moment… you can pay for it for days, weeks even so why I occasionally do it? for others, on special occasions
@JoannaNoBanana I'm STILL hurting bad/worse after walking a few yards to shops near where I parked my car & carrying a not-heavy bag = 5 days later = why I rarely do it, but people say "you MUST go out" & they ignore my EXTRA & neglected injuries some of them helped cause...
@JoannaNoBanana Pinpointing rest periods, even 10 minutes during a CFS wave, can ward off a full CFS KO. Also, finding meditation is the wildest of places. Run out of meds? Check bags, coats, side of the bed and sofa. Not worn something in 12 months? You’ll probably find some there. 💜
