@simon_prickett Thats the one. You can leave the other one disconnected. Couple of hooks from the hardware store holding it up, I need to cut them a bit down.
@simon_prickett Thanks, disconnected the lights on mine too. I tried 19v on my bench supply and it seemed happy, just a bit unsure about undervolting it?! p.s. On mine RS485 - Red is A and Black is B.
@simon_prickett I'm using briggysmalls.github.io/pyflipdot/ with a RS485 USB dongle in to a Pi. How are you powering your one? I'm using a bench power supply with 24v but thinking of using an old 19v laptop supply.

Used a @Raspberry_Pi Pico to get an old bus ticket machine working again as a toy!
@DavidAGraham Yeah the old printer mechanism was dot matrix. Unfortunately some of the solenoids were no longer working, so stuck in a thermal one instead.
