To Mary, the coming of the Messiah meant that the Lord: "He has given help to Israel His servant, in remembrance of His mercy as He spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and his descendants forever" (Lk 1:53–55)
@Joel7Richardson I stand for Isreal. God will not let that place get wiped out when that day comes. My question is, those that are faithful to the Torah. They don't believe that christ was the son of God. So, the individuals that believe in Judaism are they waiting for a King or the son of god
I bet a lot of people would like to straighten out Zacharias's eschatology as well: “Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, For He has visited and redeemed His people, And has raised up a horn of salvation for us In the house of His servant David, As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets, Who have been since the world began, That we should be saved from our enemies And from the hand of all who hate us, To perform the mercy promised to our fathers And to remember His holy covenant, The oath which He swore to our father Abraham: To grant us that we, Being delivered from the hand of our enemies, Might serve Him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life." (Luke 1:68-75)
@Joel7Richardson He surely gave mercy to me today. Today my brother, who was told by doctors he will die very soon, prayed with me for Jesus to be his savior. Praise you, Lord Jesus!!! Thank you for your mercy!!! I've prayed and waited decades for that. I will see my brother again in the future.
@Joel7Richardson Remember that Christ came as a servant to the Jews to show that God is true to the promises he made to their ancestors, He also came so that the Gentiles might give glory to God for his mercies to them. That is what the psalmist meant... Roman's 15:9,10
