Big call option volume on the $VIX tape can seem like "someone knows something." However, OTM $VIX calls can be used as a hedge against a big long position. Be careful when looking at the $VIX action.

These fast and huge rebound up days in $SPY are typical in bear markets. *IF* we sell off hard next week it would be good evidence of a pending bear market.

I believe the bull market of 2024 will not continue in 2025: FED has signaled rates will be higher for longer, the powers that be would love to see a drop in $SPY for Trump's return, and a cooling period usually follows a fat bull market. Good luck!!

$NFLX holly cow, this stock only goes up. This is probably my biggest non-traded miss ever. You could have gone long pretty much anytime in the last 2 years and killed it. It has gone up almost 500% since the summer of 2022.

$BTC feels different this time. I traded through the last two big drops and I don’t see a massive drop this time around. It has gotten way more accepted on Wall Street and Main Street, plus less people will panic sell this time around, IMO.

$Soxx has been down lately, even when $NVDA was at $150. This ETF may have found support, if so, it could take off. This might be a safe play in the semi conductor sector as these companies shake out their leaders and laggers over the next couple years.

$ASML showed some life today after laying on a major weekly support level for some time. I like this stock over the winter. It has the making to be a really good 8-12 week swing trade.

$NFLX daily chart and weekly chart are both overbought and it looks like a good place to top out and pull back. I don't recommend shorting stocks at all time highs, but this one has a good chance of coming down for a few weeks.

$GLD has a good looking daily and weekly chart for long positions. I can see a mini pull back to 230-240 then off to new highs for 2025.

$ADBE has been selling off and is now sitting on major resistance on the weekly chart. If a bounce shows itself, this could be a good long.

IF we get selling over the next days/ or weeks. when its done I will look at $LLY and $UNH for potential longs. Both seem like they have room to grow.
