@JordanUhl I began cataloguing these random shootings 3 days ago. Already up to 6 people shot for doing normal things we’ve all done. And that’s just me accidentally seeing the news stories.
@JordanUhl If only fentanyl deaths were reported with this type of theatrics.
@JordanUhl @willsommer If you're describing the future, the future is now.
@JordanUhl Some years back my ex inherited some rifles, and it amazed me how having those things in his possession seemed to up his fear of the drug traffic going on on our street- he started talking about maybe having to use his weapons, etc. Just having the guns made him more afraid.
@dirk_diggler73 @refcsp @danpeterman @JordanUhl That still doesn't change the fact crime is lower than ever and the vast majority of people won't be the victims of violent crimes
@JordanUhl This is the kind of thing I worry about constantly when I see apps like Nextdoor, where people make a big deal every time they see someone in their neighborhood they don't recognize.
@JordanUhl Genuine question: How do Americans that are used to "packing" travel interstate/OS without their guns due to the destination restrictions. Do they not go on vacay/travel or go with it and accept rejection? Vs Those that do not pack feel about travelling to open carry etc states?
@JordanUhl I’d argue also that the bigger problem, like everywhere else, is old white men
@JordanUhl Two stories with made up narratives and not enough information about what actually happened to make any decisions on how to feel.
