“Normally when two countries fight a war, each side takes responsibility for taking care of its own people. In this war, Israel is expected to protect its own civilians but also be responsible for protecting—and feeding—Palestinian civilians” thedispatch.com/newsletter/gfi…
@JoshKraushaar perhaps I am wrong but I cannot think of another case where a country is attacked,its people slaughtered and then they are expected to feed and clothe the aggressor and provide energy etc...usually the idea is to force the aggressor to surrender not make it easier to carry on
@JoshKraushaar @guypbenson A reminder how we got here…
@JoshKraushaar 1- Israel does not recognize a Palestinian state and control its territories so subsequently it is an occupying power 2- Pursuant to point 1 above, Palestinians are under occupation and Article 55 of the 4th Geneva Convention (which Israel is a signatory to) states the following:
@JoshKraushaar It's not a war, it's an occupation, you have responsibilities that you have shown the world you care little for, forgive us if we do not put up with the constant gaslighting anymore...
@JoshKraushaar So you do admit Palestine is a country?Occupied by Israel, then we should arm Palestine with the same weapons so they could protect their civilians.
@JoshKraushaar When we're talking, Palestine is not a country. When we're bombing them, Palestine is a country with a full-on army gone to war with us.
@JoshKraushaar It's not a war. Gaza doesn't have an army. It's Israel committing genocide in a country it has occupied for years.
@JoshKraushaar Which country is Israel at war with? Which country is Israel refusing to accept exists? Israel is an occupying power, so ya obviously Israel is responsible for the people it occupies
@JoshKraushaar Two countries ?? Are you hallucinating?
@JoshKraushaar Because you're the occupier. You know, the land thief who controls Gaza's land, air and sea
