Lol workers don't identify with the mission of "extract profit at all costs"

@JoshuaPHilll that's okay. anyone who works from home and is disconnected from their employer is pretty easy to replace with a worker from India at a lower cost. WFH is synonymous with outsource to remote employees in India and less than half the cost.
@JoshuaPHilll I really don't get why employer's don't embrace remote working. You can stop pay for office space, people don't have to commute any more, driver's insurance will go down as the highways empty out. It's a win, win, win.
@JoshuaPHilll I had to sit in a 3 hour “retreat” a few months ago where we were told be more enthusiastic and grateful for our jobs. Also, that we can’t “cancel” people because we would be “oppressing” them and their “right to free speech.” tldr; threatened to be fired for telling off bigots
@JoshuaPHilll "Office workers' ability to feign connection to companies' missions hit record high"
@JoshuaPHilll da fuck does a “connection” to the mission matter if the job is getting done.
