I see discussing things that impact Black people makes you and some others on here uncomfortable so I’ll address this. The NFL has a diversity problem, period. But RIGHT NOW we’re talking about BLACK HEAD COACHES. Whataboutism is weak and unintelligent.

@JoyTaylorTalks Agreed @JoyTaylorTalks. And whataboutism is also divisive. It pits Hispanics against Blacks (in this example) rather than focuses on the poor performance of the NFL, which is the real issue.
@JoyTaylorTalks Over 50years ago and we still struggle for equity or recognition that there is a struggle!
@JoyTaylorTalks Then say it has a diversity problem. Its not specifically an african american problem. Not hard
@JoyTaylorTalks Buy a team. Hire all diversity you wish. And if you dont make money or cant do well in you division. DONT fire anyone cause they are diverse. Sounds silly right? Professional sports is about people buying tickets cause they want to see a good product. Flores firing was incorrect
@JoyTaylorTalks The NFL has diversity problem because there's no diversity in ownership. That trickles down to the front office. 5 GM's out of 32. 1 president of football ops. 2 minority owners (1 is a co-owner). The NFL reflects what the society has always shown: lacking diversity.
@JoyTaylorTalks Not sure about that statement! The players are extremely diversified! If you are a good coach doesn't matter your skin color. But because there's only 1 black coach now there what has to be 20 black coaches???
@JoyTaylorTalks I’ll say it again this is sports the Best people are hired and If they don’t do what is expected they are fired. 32 jobs in the world. It shouldn’t matter when the league has half black coaches all black coaches or none! This is one of the rarest jobs and race shouldn’t matter!
@JoyTaylorTalks Very curious what proposals are out there to remedy the situation. Feels like the NFL has tried, but owners are going to do what they do.
@JoyTaylorTalks No disrespect to any one, whatsoever, but Black people have been far more prominent to the league than anyone else. To think there are not more than one Black Head Coach, is a slap in the faces of all who have aspired to gain the position.
