Personal announcement! ⬇️ UTC’s game at Lipscomb last week was my last game for @UTC_Echo (if you listen to @TwoBidSoCon, you already knew that). Covering UTC athletics (especially basketball) the last three seasons has been awesome, but I’m graduating in the next week, and it’s time for a new chapter of my life… being a real adult with a real job🫠. I want to say thank you to all of my Chattanooga/SoCon Twitter friends I’ve made over the past few years. I really appreciate all the support I’ve gotten and all the interactions I’ve had - even those of you that disagree with me! I’m always down to talk sports, and you guys have given me a place/platform to do so. Hopefully we can keep those relationships/stay in touch whether I’m covering SoCon hoops or not in the future. What’s next for me? I have no clue. I’ve only just started applying places, but I will for sure be in the sports media realm. Keep me in your prayers that I can find a good job, and if you know of one lmk! As for my coverage right now, I’ll still be on new episodes on @TwoBidSoCon every week throughout the season (you should listen if you haven’t), and I’ll be tweeting all the time about SoCon basketball. I’m addicted to this app, so you’re getting my thoughts/takes whether you like it or not. For those of you who enjoyed my UTC coverage, make sure you follow @matt_stcharles and @lw_foley. They are taking over at the Echo and will do an even better job than I did. They are both super talented/driven and have a big future in this. The group of future sports media members we’ve assembled at UTC is as good as it’s ever been (shoutout @cdortch). Once again, I want thank you guys so much for following my coverage over the past few years. We will see where the future takes me!

Amazing shot by big T on senior night for the conference title! Great team win. The crowd was incredible. I say it all the time but we really have some of the best fans in the country! On to the conference tournament.
