Saw a video the other day where someone said, Colonialism did not come to bring development, but to loot, murder and plunder. So it is interesting that even those that benefit from colonialism to date talk about their victims as "under-developed". Perspective

History is written by the victor! however, in 2023 you have no reason not to document your story. Do not allow those that oppress you to define you nor try to "memorise" your journey, you know they will centre themselves when you are the main character. Document!
