I worked very hard for this fight and had an intense and grueling camp. There’s no better feeling than being in that ring and having my hand raised in front of my loyal and amazing fans who I appreciate so much. Unfortunately the victory which was inevitable no matter what, is tarnished and I hate that. It sucks! After landing my overhand he was pretty much out on his feet and I went for a short right hook as Joe clinched me and fell into me. I landed that hook and my glove made contact but appears to have been followed by unintentional contact with my forearm. I’m gutted that it’s not as clean a win as I wanted and it feels like it diminishes my hard work with my trainers. Either way I hope you enjoyed the show and appreciate the support. Sorry to all the fans disappointed with it. No one is more so than me.
It's a boxing rule that if your opponent leans in towards the elbow during a strike from the other fighter that it counts as a KO. We saw clearly that Joe leaned in towards your forearm after getting wobbled from a clean overhand, resulting in an elbow strike. But because of the boxing rule ^ it only means you claim the victory. Very few people know this, ONLY boxing nerds know about this rule and if Joe somehow gets his appeal, he will still lose the rematch and waste everyones time. Thank you, just wanted to clear things for the kids who are complaining.
@KSI Of course it diminishes your hard work. You finished the fight with an illegal blow. You expect people to praise it? Stop playing woe is me and just take it on the chin. There’s always an excuse with you and your fans!
@KSI all these Jake Paul fanboys will always find something, keep going, keep improving & keep proving people wrong.
@KSI After watching the clip multiple times, it appears that Fournier actually bit KSI. No elbow, congrats champ!
@KSI You was clearly hitting him to the back of the head. Three times before the elbow even happened. Your glove never landed when u landed the elbow. We have all the angles. The fact you keep claiming it did makes it look more intentional. Just take the sport serious for once.
