I’ve been using Grok and Dot pretty heavily for almost a month now. Grok handles my new X account, while Dot helps with my independent site.
The gap between them is honestly pretty noticeable. Grok has a great ecosystem, but Dot still feels pretty limited when it comes to connecting with the backend and actually getting things done.
I run an FDE company in China, built largely around GPT. With how fast agents are evolving, I barely write code myself anymore. But somehow, I still can’t get Dot to fit into my actual workflow.
I really want Dot to work for me, but right now it just isn’t there yet.
