In 2020, young voters told us they wanted college to be more affordable—knowing they can graduate without being burdened by student loan debt. @JoeBiden announced a plan to cancel up to $10,000 of student loan debt, and if students are a Pell Grant recipient, up to $20,000.
@KamalaHarris @JoeBiden You mean transferring the debt to ALL taxpayers, not canceling the debt. SMH🙄🙄🤬🤬
@KamalaHarris @JoeBiden Cancel? You mean "transfer."
@KamalaHarris @JoeBiden So who pays for the forgiveness?
@KamalaHarris @JoeBiden Making college affordable and using taxpayer money to pay off student loan debt are two completely different things.
@KamalaHarris @JoeBiden You have to look through the veil of Klamata's words "affordable"—knowing they can graduate "without being burdened". It doesn't equate people. Af·ford·a·ble ≠ w/o Bur·den! What are the Democrats trying to pull?
@KamalaHarris @JoeBiden Repay it all I don’t give a shit. We’re all going down together.
@KamalaHarris @JoeBiden How is this a fix? This is temporary. Honestly terrible policy.
@KamalaHarris @JoeBiden So , students can get both Cal and Pell grant in the same time ???
@KamalaHarris @JoeBiden How does this help future college students afford to go? In 2018 my est fam contribution, by FAFSA calculation, was 0. I was accepted to 3 private unis. All included a forgivable grant, and a loan to pay back, and DID NOT cover the cost, there was still $12K to cover. Explain?
