Last week, on 9th January, the Sonapur Excise Circle raided various roadside dhabas and eateries at Tepesia, Patorkuchi, Hatimura, during their regular patrolling. A case was detected under section 61(b)a of the Assam Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018. Rs. 2500 as fine was realised.

Glimpse of the Jalukbari Excise Circle raiding the areas of Pandu, 6 No. Gate, Satmile, Teteliya, Bhootnath, Machkhowa, & destroying the illegal liquor found therein, on 26th of December, 2023. Raids were also conducted at Dhabas of Teteliya area.
