Do people think they're entitled to a relationship? You don't actually need a reason to break up. "I don't want to be with you anymore" is enough.
@Karnythia Yes, yes they do feel entitled. I suspect they are the types of men who curse out women in the street who reject their advances. They're the reason so many women feel compelled to smile & be nice while dealing with street harassment.
@Karnythia I'm sure the responses would be very different if the roles were reversed and the man was breaking up with the woman for the same reason. 🙄
@Karnythia A lot sure seem to feel that way, yes.
@Karnythia It's mindblowing how hard it is sometimes to get that through to people. You get people seeking relationship advice like: "My partner cheated and I hate them now. Actual hate. I don't know what to do." LEAVE.
@Karnythia True. Though I'd wager that she gave him a laundry list of shit and all he heard was "... cookies ..."
@Karnythia "It's not you, it's me" is a cliche for a reason. It's natural to want to know what you did wrong and how you can fix it, but sometimes the answer is just that they aren't feeling it any more
@Karnythia The fact that these dudes thinks it's just the cookies let's you know that they have never been in a long term relationship. Hell, a lot women need to leave these men years and decdeas before they do. Just like my mom did with my dad, and I'm happy she did.
