The King and Queen have arrived at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle for the traditional Easter Sunday service. Among other royals at the service: Princess Anne, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, the Duke and Sarah, Duchess of York.
Prince Edward and Sophie’s son James, Earl of Wessex, is the other member of the family in the royal party.
The Queen is wearing a green coat dress by Anna Valentine and a hat by Philip Treacy with an emerald and diamond brooch that belonged to Elizabeth II.
As ever, the presence of Prince Andrew at a royal service has been seized on by Britain’s republican movement. Graham Smith, chief executive of @RepublicStaff, has branded Andrew’s appearance a disgrace. Others will argue: let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
@RoyalReporter @RepublicStaff A 'sin' regular folks would be in jail for, but yeah ok...🙄
