BREAKING: TOTAL DISGRACE! Donald Trump embarrasses the U.S. on the world stage by refusing to turn on his camera during a Zoom call with the leaders of the G7. We'll give you one guess why... In a moment straight out of a bad political satire, Trump hopped on a call with leaders including Canada's Mark Carney and France's Emmanuel Macron — and then failed to actually show his face. It's the kind of thing that a lazy employee might do to avoid getting dressed after sleeping in following a night of heavy drinking. Or, more likely, it was because Trump was tired and he planned on falling asleep during the call like he has during countless other high-stakes meetings. With his camera off, he could conceivably snooze in peace without the others noticing. Dementia is a physically taxing condition after all. According to Fatih Birol, the executive director of the International Energy Agency, the Zoom meeting was to discuss the global energy market (which has been dramatically destabilized by Trump's Iran War and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz). Specifically, they addressed the "severe pressures" on diesel supplies which, again, is a consequence of Trump's disastrous war. Present on the call were the leaders of Canada, the European Commission, France, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom and (possibly) the United States. The image of Trump's camera turned off was shared by Birol, and it's unclear if he kept it off for the entire call but even a brief failure to show his face is a sign of disrespect, deeply unprofessional, and just the latest indignity that this buffoon has heaped on our closest allies. I'm thinking that the GOP stunt about Jack Smith and the basketball game wasn't a misunderstanding of Hawks/Hawkeyes. I think Schmitt and company planned to flash that poster and then move on, leaving Mr. Smith looking confused on camera and unable to explain the supposed texts. The thing that blew it up, and the thing that really got to Schmitt, was that Senator Klobuchar called him on it and foiled his plans. The GOP men involved were mad at being exposed and beaten by a woman.

With ZERO regard for facts or the truth, the Jack Smith Senate Judiciary hearing was a fucking disaster for Republicans. What was supposed to be a pep rally for the pedophile president before the midterms instead showed the American people a gaslighting and grandstanding parade of poltroons and sycophants performing like circus monkeys for the TRAITOR in the Oval Office. Jack Smith once again came across as exactly what he is — a man of the highest integrity, a serious prosecutor committed to the Constitution and the rule of law, and above all… AN AMERICAN PATRIOT.
