Reminder: Never flush medications! Please use the med return box located at the Athens Police Station on Hobbs St. available 24 hours a day. Flushing meds can create huge water purification problems.

Another day of finding food garbage in the cardboard at the recycling center. Also found firecrackers. This could have hurt an employee or damaged expensive equipment. PLEASE recycle right and think of the person handling your materials! Please share.

IMPORTANT: If you have done a roadside cleanup, you MUST let us know if the bags have been left to be picked up, otherwise we assume you disposed of them yourselves. We don't want the bags to get left and break open. THANK YOU!
