It is undeniable that Orlando Hall's trial was tainted with racism. That alone is reason enough to stop tomorrow's scheduled execution. As courts have recognized, blatant racism in the legal system is like a poison that kills public trust. We must demand better from the system.

The outgoing presidential administration is planning to execute Orlando Hall tomorrow in Terre Haute, Indiana. The last time a “lame-duck” administration carried out an execution was 131 years ago in 1889 under President Grover Cleveland.

I have heart disease, COPD, and type 1 diabetes. I just tested positive for Covid_19. I followed the guidelines. I did what was recommended. But so many refused. Now myself, wife, daughter, and stepdaughter all have tested positive. All our hard work gone to waste. SMFH.

In the 8 months since I wrote this tweet, about 200,000 Americans have died unnecessarily because of superstition. I fear that will be more than doubled in the next 8 months. This is such a stupid tragedy.
