@VitotheFinsFan2 Agreed but because they have so much cap space they can draft a qb next year, start Willis if he’s not ready then easily switch and let Willis go next year no problem. It was a good scratch off that doesn’t look like it hit so far

@MontanaJoeh6 @booklady2002 @SamAntar @nytimes That’s pretty common, the vice principal of my school growing up got her doctorate and went by dr. Instead of Mrs.

@VitotheFinsFan2 Wilson not chase. Let’s be honest. The argument isn’t pick good receiver vs possible great qb. It’s pick possible HOF receiver or take a chance on one of these qbs. If you don’t think the qb is THE GUY you go receiver everytime

@PabloGRadio Dead cap will be straight anyways. This was the right move the Willis money is virtually nothing they’ll be able to get whoever they want the next few years and draft another qb. Willis was/is worth the scratch off

@Th3Realist0n3 @VitotheFinsFan2 I just don’t understand hard opinions on who to draft. We just need good players man, the rest will figure itself out. You force a qb pick and it almost never works out

That’s crazy. My fanbase that has been dying for a franchise QB for 27 years wants to draft a fucking WR when we just had arguably the best WR in the league who was voted #1 PLAYER in the NFL and couldn’t even get passed WC weekend.

@VitotheFinsFan2 Ceedee lamb & Justin Jefferson still on their playoff capable teams while fins got a shot at 0-17 after picking Tua btw. I’m not against qb over receiver but you better be convinced he’s the guy or you should absolutely draft BPA

@MarkRhodes11 @ckparrot Malik hasn’t been spectacular but honestly I’m looking at say the final 8 games to truly evaluate him. He should be more comfortable in the offense, and teams will have more tape on him, let’s see if he improves going forward

@Carlosss971 @ckparrot Fair but in the past we had guys like Noah Igbo not be able to beat out 3rd string corners for PT, so atleast someone like CJ is on the field and not a complete liability, excited to see how they do as the season progresses

@GeorgeMatt44229 @RichardRaliegh @OmarKelly It’s his first season as the Qb with subpar weapons. All I’m looking for is improvement game to game and not making the same mistakes. The most important thing this season is Willis (and everyone else) look better by the end of the szn

Void years aren’t bad if done correctly FYI. These conversions probably added less than a mil per year in “dead cap” but opens up immediate flexiblity (good). Converting 50 mil of a contract to free space on a player you know you’ll cut in a few years? Probably bad
