@KingHippo42 I know what the issue is, it's that either you need to provide proof of a certain number of units sold so you can prove you're not selling some weird niche product no one actually uses or your business needs to be sizeable enough as to be trustworthy to sell branded items.

@KingHippo42 Hit Box doesn't meet either criteria so Sony won't offer them a licensing deal because they both won't buy enough parts to be worth licensing to and aren't reputable as a brand. This licensing program they're running is probably a means for them to bolster numbers.

@KingHippo42 Even if they were tomorrow to announce a new model Hit Box that was just as feature rich as their competitors with a build quality far and above anything they've ever made, I still see no reason people would buy from them now. Their competitors are too good and not malicious.
@KingHippo42 I know what the issue is, it's that either you need to provide proof of a certain number of units sold so you can prove you're not selling some weird niche product no one actually uses or your business needs to be sizeable enough as to be trustworthy to sell branded items.
@KingHippo42 Hit Box doesn't meet either criteria so Sony won't offer them a licensing deal because they both won't buy enough parts to be worth licensing to and aren't reputable as a brand. This licensing program they're running is probably a means for them to bolster numbers.

@JohnXuandou @KingHippo42 Mine arrived with two buttons doubling the same input and one not working. They were the side buttons and I had start + select so it worked out but, just to say it. And I even usually would defend them. This is just silly tho. I play on a custom now anyway but this turned me off
