Anyone who supports Kwankwaso and Peter Obi is not doing it for personal gain or money. Those who truly know Peter Obi know he is not known for distributing money to win support. The same applies to Kwankwaso—his support base is not built on financial influence. So, when you see people in the Obi/Kwankwaso movement, you know it is not about material gain. It is about conviction, belief, and a sense of competence and credibility. It is about what people are convinced of and what they believe is right. ✊🇳🇬 ——Barr. Abba Hikima Fagge

After speaking with Nigerians in Cape Town yesterday, I was able to have meaningful discussions this morning with three South African ministers and political party leaders regarding the ongoing challenges related to immigration, regional collaboration, and fostering peaceful coexistence between our nations. I had the pleasure of meeting with Mr Leon Schreiber, the South African Minister of Home Affairs and a prominent figure in the Democratic Alliance; Mr Velenkosini Hlabisa, the Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs and leader of the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP); and Mr Gayton McKenzie, the Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture and leader of the Patriotic Alliance (PA). Our conversations were productive and candid, focusing on the current challenges that affect both countries—particularly those related to migration, economic strains, youth unemployment, security issues, and the rising tensions faced by African foreigners in South Africa. I firmly believe that Nigeria and South Africa, both prominent African nations, must enhance dialogue, bolster cooperation, and seek solutions based on justice, mutual respect, and adherence to the rule of law. In challenging times, leaders and citizens alike need to demonstrate responsible leadership, compassion, and restraint. We collectively stressed the importance of law-abiding behaviour, avoiding violence, resisting hate or provocation, and allowing lawful institutions to address grievances through democratic and constitutional processes, regardless of the challenges we face. The progress of Africa hinges on our ability to create unity, foster economic inclusivity, invest in our communities, and uphold the dignity of every African, no matter where they live. -PO

@NigeriaStories He is the best striker in the world. He's athletic, a good finisher and very skillful when it comes to one on one with the ball. He's underrated honestly.

For the umpteenth time, Nigerians, again woke up today to the continued reports of highly condemnable acts of violence reoccurring across our nation. First was the reported killing of about 30 persons in Plateau State, and secondly,

₦ 142 Billion for Bus Terminals: Another Evidence of misplaced Priority The difference between the success and failure of the development in any nation is how you prioritise your scarce resources. The recent announcement that a sum of ₦142 billion has been approved by the Federal Government for the construction of one bus terminal in each of our six geopolitical zones further affirms the lack of competence, lack of focus and poor leadership. In the 2024 budget, which is the operational budget today, the entire budget of all the teaching hospitals across all the federal universities in the country, as well as the federal psychiatric centres, is under ₦100 billion, yet the government has approved ₦142 billion for bus terminals. This is disturbing, considering that Health is one of the most critical areas of development, which is deteriorating and remains grossly underfunded. WHO recently reported that over 20 million Nigerians are living with mental health issues. This is not only a misplaced priority but a tragic irony of our country. This is not governance. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
