30 January 1965, the flag-draped coffin of Sir Winston Churchill is carried to the Port of London Authority launch 'Havengore' at Tower Pier.
I remember a crowd of photographers outside Middlesex Hosp, Cleveland St. Being a school boy I stood there with my cheap camera, they took the micky out of it. A matron came out & said Mrs Churchill had left. All the press went, mine were the only photos!
