Can't think of a better time of boys basketball in the Nashville area than in the 1990s. @MikeOrganWriter does a great job with each all-decade team. But this one was just an unreal list. Our 1990s All-Decade boys basketball team: tennessean.com/story/sports/h…
Oh. I got an early glance at the 90s girls team that @MikeOrganWriter is putting together. Wow. That’s going to be a great team too when that comes out (likely next week).
@Kreager @MikeOrganWriter Agree! Nashville basketball was incredible. High major, impactful players all over the mid-state
@Kreager @MikeOrganWriter 🗣️congratulations to my fellas many of which I grew up playing with at Hartman Park!! Waiting on the ladies 👀🫣
@Kreager @TheRonSlay @MikeOrganWriter Man, I was at Hunters Lane when Ron and Drew Maddux were both at Goodpasture. It was crazy how big of an event it was to go watch those guys. Tailgating and standing room only for a HS game. It was definitely worth the hype.
@Kreager @TheRonSlay @MikeOrganWriter Congrats Ron. Well deserved 🧡🧡🧡
@Kreager @MikeOrganWriter 6'7 Brad Philips-Mont Central is worthy. Scored over 3k pts breaking his coach, Jimmy Young's record, who was named to 60's mid st team. Brad ave over 36 pts a game his sr year & 65 pts in district champ. Multiple All-State-Played @ Austin Peay before foot injuries sidelined him.
