Hey @punc21, we’ve just started NRS503! Did anyone do HIV as a contemporary public health issue? I find the topic really interesting, but in all honesty I just need to pass, and don’t want to over complicate things!! 😂

Today, for the first time i experienced the full cycle of looking after a patient, pre op and post op! Experiencing his procedure in theatre too! Double Thyroidectomy, Bilateral neck disection, Laryngectomy! I remembered why I love my job. #punc22

Since starting my placement 3 days ago I have observed a LeFort Osteotomy, on the Maxilla and Mandible ( Brutal ), and The removal of a parotid salivary gland tumour and lymph nodes! And I had training today for tracheostomy care with a lovely specialist ENT nurse. #punc22
