@Ky1eLong "Never trust a Kyle." - Jesus Christ (and Buddha)
@Ky1eLong This will either be the worst rule next year or it’ll actually be helpful like the horse collar
@Ky1eLong You played so your opinion matters here for sure, but fact remains the rule is way too subjective to enforce fairly on a consistent basis and WILL unfairly affect the outcomes of games. That's our complaint as fans: we want to watch you players determine the final score, not refs
@Ky1eLong @patrickfinley Going to make it almost impossible to tackle from the side or behind, especially for the DBs.
@Ky1eLong So many people on here saying "this coming from an offensive linemen". O-linemen need to learn to tackle just like defenders. Would yall rather they watch the defender get a turnover and take it to the house?
@Ky1eLong Just put the flags on and make it official before the Olympics.
There aren't many ways to tackle from the side or behind to stop momentum in a game of inches. Either drop weight or, as Tony Dungy has pointed out in response to this rule – dip and attempt to limit injury or deliberately take out legs and expose players to greater risk of injury. Apparently you prefer legs. But what does Dungy know, since you once played two ways in high-school? Perhaps you're gonna hold a tackling camp for elite NFL defensive players?
@Ky1eLong Yeah, it's so easy. Next time you're trying to tackle derrick Henry as a 185 pound CB, just remember these wise words. Next time you're chasing tyreek hill across the fields at full speed, ask him to stop or at least slow down for you
