If you are able to come to Grand Rapids area, I help run an org called GIFT for LGBTQ+ Christians. We also have a local pride center and trans-specific orgs. Not a perfect area by any means but we try โค๏ธโค๏ธ

@torunwithmywolf @exfundiediary That said, I do see a psychiatrist who gives me the meds I need to stay functional! In general I do advocate for people to seek professional mental health guidance - but sometimes that just isn't accessible
@torunwithmywolf @exfundiediary 100% agree, unfortunately. Many of us do need therapy and would greatly benefit from good therapy from a well-matched therapist. But finding quality care is emotionally and financially draining, and sometimes a bad therapist is worse than no therapist ๐ฌ
@exfundiediary @brent_waggoner He called me yesterday to set up a house blessing for our recently-purchased home, which is half-furnished with antiques the sweetest church lady gifted us. I've been through a lot of pain but am truly living the dream now ๐ญ
