A year from now, you will wish you had started today. Don't overthink the method. Just start.

Conversation is the ultimate cheat code. You can study for years and not speak. Or you can speak for weeks and learn more than years of study. Start speaking today. My favorite tool for this is in the bio.

Set YouTube playback speed to 0.75x. Does the native speaker talk too fast? Slow it down. Once you understand it, bump it up to 1x. Progressive overload for your ears.

You aren't "bad at languages". You just had bad teachers in high school. The school system is designed for tests, not conversation. Forget that trauma.

Reclaim your 'dead time'. Commuting? Podcast. Waiting in line? Anki flashcards. Doing dishes? Talk to yourself (or AI). There are 2 extra hours in your day if you look for them.

If you woke up tomorrow fluent in one new language, which one would it be and what is the first thing you'd do?

The 'Frequency List' hack. Learn the top 1000 most used words in a language first. This covers 85% of daily conversation. The rest is noise. Focus on the core.

Motivation gets you started. Habit keeps you going. Don't rely on "feeling like it". Build a system where you can't skip.

Use AI to rewrite texts to your exact level. Article too hard? Ask ChatGPT: "Rewrite this text to A2 level Spanish". Now you have reading material that is perfectly comprehensible.

Making mistakes isn't failing. It's data collection. Every time you stumble on a word, you mark a gap in your knowledge that you can fix. Embrace the cringe.

Which language sounds like magic to you? For me, it's Danish.

Don't know a word? Don't look it up in English. Look up the definition in your target language. Or search Google Images. Link the word to a concept/image, not a translation.

Most language apps are designed to keep you addicted, not to make you fluent. They sell dopamine, not skills. I curated a list of tools that actually focus on output. Link in bio.

The 'Shadowing' technique is gold. Put on a podcast. Repeat exactly what the speaker says, 0.5 seconds later. Mimic the speed and intonation. The best workout for your accent.

Immersion doesn't mean moving to Spain. Immersion means changing your digital environment. YouTube, Podcasts, Phone, AI. You can live in Tokyo from your bedroom.

Hot take: It is better to speak 1 language fluently than 5 languages "just a little bit". Agree or disagree?

Change your phone's language settings. You navigate by muscle memory, so you won't get lost. But you'll see words like 'settings', 'message', and 'search' 100x a day. Free vocabulary acquisition.

Flashcards without context are a waste of time. Never learn the word "run". Learn "I run fast" and "Run a business". Context is the glue for your memory.

People ask how I find time to practice. Simple: I don't 'study'. I designed my environment so learning happens automatically. My "Zero-Effort" system is explained in the pinned tweet.

Record yourself speaking about your day for 1 minute. Run the audio through an AI transcription tool. Ask ChatGPT to point out your mistakes. Painful? Yes. Effective? Extremely.
